Returns Policy
This document serves as formal notification of the returns policy implemented by GetGear Gun Co. (hereinafter referred to as “GetGear”), regarding all goods returned from customers to GetGear. This policy is in line with global best practices and relevant South African market regulations.
1. Returns of Damaged/Defective Goods
- Damaged upon arrival: Goods that arrived damaged or defective may be returned within 30 days from the date of invoice. Customers must notify GetGear within 7 days of delivery. If approved, GetGear will replace the item free of charge within 30 days.
- Damaged after delivery: Returns are accepted within 30 days from the invoice date. GetGear may, at its discretion, approve a replacement at the current unit sales price. The customer is responsible for return and reshipment costs.
- Manufacturer warranty: Items covered by a manufacturer warranty may be returned within 30 days or the warranty period, whichever is longer. Replacements will follow the manufacturer’s terms.
- Negligent damage: Items damaged due to negligence, reckless, or deliberate actions after delivery cannot be returned.
- Firearms and ammunition: Firearms, ammunition, and other regulated items under the Firearms Control Act may only be returned for warranty claims and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
2. Returns of Incorrectly Ordered or Supplied Goods
- Incorrectly ordered by the customer: Goods correctly supplied by GetGear cannot be returned.
- Incorrectly supplied by GetGear: Returns are accepted within 60 days from the invoice date, provided the goods are in original packaging and undamaged. No return charge applies.
- Change of circumstances: Returns due to market trends or changes in demand will not be accepted.
