Description
The Sabatti SAPHIRE (Sabatti All Purpose Hunting Italian Rifle) has a three locking lug bolt housed in a 7075-T6 alloy receiver that’s both lightweight and extremely resistant. A Picatinny rail is built-in on the receiver for easy optics installation.
The muzzle is threaded and covered by a removable thread protector, allowing for the installation of the shooter’s choice of muzzle devices.
Barrel interchangeability is one of the main features of the Sabatti Saphire rifle: barrels can be purchased separately, in different calibers, and swapped by a good armorer with a few simple tools. Replacement of the magazine and bolt head may be necessary when shifting from the factory caliber to another.
